A month or two ago, I bought some beautiful "sock" yarn at JoAnn's, never having knit a pair of socks before. I have been very curious about the different methods of knitting socks and then I found this great book, "Knitting More Circles around Socks" by Antje gillingham. I am trying her method to see if I can really do it. I have started and undone this project about three times but now I finally think I have the jest of it as you can see my "toes" are off to a good start. This isn't the yarn I bought--- these socks will be my "practice" socks. I am excited to see how they turn out!
