Last year my daughter made some of these darling half-eaten gingerbread men for her tree and I thought I would like to try some out. I ended up making 13-a baker's dozen and used them to put on plates of Christmas cookies for the neighbors this year. I did manage to keep a few for our tree. I ended up making red felt buttons instead of using real buttons as the pattern by Elsie Marley calls for. I have this posted on my personal blog as well.
