I paid 49 cents for this pattern at a craft shop in Kentucky but you can get the pattern online at this website. It is fun to make for Valentine's Day-a really fun gift. It works up pretty fast. I used 3 skeins of the "Sugar and Cream" or "Peaches and Cream" (I can't remember which!) cotton-red, hot pink, and orange. I made 3 hot pads out of the 3 skeins. My daughter made a hot pad out of the variegated cotton yarn.
